Heart for Africa primarily works in the area of Arusha in Northern Tanzania. This is an area in which we have longstanding contacts whom we trust to identify the most pressing needs of orphanages, schools and communities they work with. As we grow, we may consider expanding further, but we always want to ensure that we work in partnership with Tanzanian communities and local community leaders.

Arusha sits at the foot of Mt. Meru, and not far from the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest freestanding mountain.
