Although the church and community centre we helped to build in the village of Olteves/Mateves was finished in 2022, it was only in Feb 2024 that we saw it for the first time. Our Trustee Fiona Davies and East Africa Operations Director Rev Steve Owino performed the official opening ceremony, remembering our late partner Rev Onesiphorus Massawe who had the original vision for the church. The team then joined with the community and others in a joyful thanksgiving meeting, led by our partner Rev Mary Massawe, Rev Onesiphorus' widow.
